Runtime Error

Try deleting the \gbpvr\web\bin\webStreamer.dll file.

That solved my problem. I found the answer somewhere else in this thread. I added a directory under my \web\bin directory and just moved the file there.

Hope it helps.

I think EWA combined with the Streamer is great utility...
I've been using GBPVR 0.96 and was wating for the new EWA in order to upgrade to 0.97.
And for my question...
Is it possible to stream my video library using the streamer without importing my *.avi files to the recording database?
I have a lot of *.avi files and importing all of them (using mpegimport) caused my GBPVR to run very slowly.

It would be a great feature to add native video library support.
Anyway, Great job on EWA,

Erez

i am receiving the following error in VLC from an external machine.

Quote:Unable to open 'http://mydomain.com:7648'

when running the same domain address from my home network it works fine, as well as running the 'localhost' address.

*EDIT* i am currently testing under Firefox 1.5.0.4 with VLC 0.8.5

Do you have a router on your Lan? Might need to setup Port forwarding.

Also...you will need to setup your firewall on the GBPVR server to allow the port number through......

That is on the plan....but initial release was just the items in Manage Recordings.

see that's strange as i have the port forwarding on my router set up. 7647 & 7648 tcp/udp are mapped to the gbpvr box.

what ports need to be opened? 1234 (setting listed in the webstream settings console), 7647 (ewa), 7648 (webstream)

*edit*

now it no longer works internally. i guess i have to check the router again. but the ports above have been NAT'd and opened on the gbpvr box.
