I don't think so, only because my pvr250 never had this problem. When it died and I replaced it with a pvr150, the trouble started. I just think it's the drivers for it. Irritating that it's been occuring for so long and it's not been fixed, but I'm still holding out hope that it will be and this problem will go away.

Totally true as shown below.

I just installed a PVR150 having used a PVR250 for over 6 months. As soon as I installed the PVR150 I got messed up timelines for all my recordings. This is totally unacceptable. Therefore I tried different PVR150 drivers to try and cure the problem with the PVR150 recordings.

Driver version: Results:
2.0.35.23297 Messed up timelines
2.0.35.23236 Messed up timelines
2.0.24.23025 Perfect mpeg timelines with correct times,

Therefore I am sticking with 2.0.24.23025 for now.

Available here ftp://ftp.shspvr.com/download/wintv-pvr_....23025.zip

Has anyone else tried experiementing with other PVR150 driver files, with results to report?

Would it be beneficial to set up a thread with discussion of driver files here or just go to another site for discussion?

dneprrider, I really appreciate you posting these results. I don't believe I tried the 23025 drivers, but I most certainly will soon. Have you tested this one extensively? Even with the bad drivers I find some of my recordings are fine, others are not.

Thanks again,
Tim

I have been using it for three days with about 10 recordings and all have been successful. What started me off on this quest was my recording of "It's a Wonderful life" got messed up on Christmas Eve due to an earlier driver and made want to get this fixed.

How are you guys updating your drivers? Using "Update Driver" in device manager? Some other way?

Thanks.

I wonder how the latest 2.0.35.23348 version (see this post http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=11924) works compared to previous versions?? Anybody willing to test and report back?

run HCWCLEAR and pick "remove all wintv Driver files" after a reboot you will see the Found New Hardware Wizard installation message then I am pointing them to install from the driver folder I am testing. After reboot I go into device manager to verify that I am using the correct driver.
