Really great addition to the PVRX2 family, thanks Fatman_do (and the skin for SearchWizX2 is _greatly_ appreciated!

When running PVRX2 /Skin from my PC -- I'd like to be able to save changes.
Is there a "Keyboard" equivalent for the "Play" key?

there is a keyboard reference on the wiki, but IIRC its Crtl+P

This latest incarnation of both Community Skin ans SkinPlugin are brilliant additions to the arsenal of PVRX2 plugins - not possible to thanks you enough for all the joy the whole family has expressed for you work.

For those that are waiting for SkinPlugin to include changes to Fonts and the TV Guide layout grid -- attached below is my temporary hack with large fonts and a grid that has just 5 rows for better visibility on old TV's and for "old women" -- HTH

Thanks for the hack, I will include them. I need to update to the latest version of SearchWizX2 however.

I had the courage to install 1.016 and ML2 6.5 (which is the only plugin I use) together with CS3 (version 13/08). I too have the problem with a non-working ML2 under my current CS3 skin which is BlueMCE2. Everything works with the original Blue skin. I have the same behaviour as described a few posts further up.

The log is attached. I hope this is helpful.

Ok, guys, I have identified that I don't have the latest version of MusicLibrary2 skinned. I fixed it to work under the old scheme (horayyyyy!), then broke it switching it to the new scheme (Boooo!). I should have a working fix tommorrow night, with the System Plugin, and update to SearchWiz2, a user provided 5 channel TVGuide high-vis version (Thanks for the help!), along with an update to the SkinPlugin with McBainUK's latest patches. I also plan on having an Avance theme ready. I'll also add McBainUK's ContourHC and Sassari themes (image only, I still need to do the xml deal).

Now all I need to do is deliver......:eek:

Sassari is a complete theme - couple extra images including one in skin2\Community3\_SpecialImages\Sassari and a mainmenu and baseskin to go along with it.

I have a problem with MusicLibrary2 trying to get it to look in "..\..\Skin2\Community3\_CoreImages\".

This worked for the other legacy plugins, but not here. To get around it, I needed to place a copy of the _CoreImages into the "Skin\Community3\" folder.

Is there a way I can change the SkinPluginConfig.xml file to do a copy to that folder when done?

If not, it would have to be a manual user change or need a change to the SkinPlugin.

I have both beta versions (GBPVR & PVRX2) of MusicLibrary finished, and think I am ready to post this otherwise.

Also, I need a mechanism to copy a different Baseskin.xml to the old ui "Skin\Community3" folder for legacy plugins. (where should I store it to keep it separated from the Skin2 version?)

No this will have to be a SkinHelper.exe change. Would a straight copy of the whole skin\community3\_coreimages -> skin2\community3\_coreimages be all that is required?

This depends on how you want the baseskins to work - would every PVRx2 baseskin have a matching legacy baseskin, or would it become an editable skin item of its own (LegacyBaseskin or whatever)? Either option would only need a SkinPluginConfig.xml edit.

I think a straight copy covers all bases and would be easier.

It would always be paired. So I could have in the folder baseskin.xml and legacybaseskin.xml and have the config do the renaming in the %OLDROOT% folder. I'll see if I can figure that out.
