Sub,

I don't think this is necessarily a GBPVR issue. I experienced the same problem on all 3 computers that have GBPVR installed (1 server - 2 client). For some reason when PVRX2 tries to open for the first time it appears that Zonealarm does not allow it to access the network. When I open the old version (non-PVRX2) I get the standard Zonealarm Pop-up... This file has changed.. blah blah blah..... After clicking yes (to access network) and using the GBPVR.exe file I can then close GBPVR.exe open PVR2.exe and use it no problem.

Hope I have explained this well enough.

Regards, Kevin

Sub,
Getting following error during install. Have re-downloaded, cleared cache, saved on a different disk etc. Any chance this is a problem with the msi file?

"Error 1335. The cabinet file 'Cabs.w1.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used....."

Thanks!

At this point I think it's just waiting for Sub to notice these posts and offer advice or look into the archive somehow getting corrupted on his end.

This will return in a future release.

Quote:-pos / -noframe arguments don't work. This is a shame as they're really useful for my multi picture setup
This might return in a future release. I'm not sure it yet. It sort of conflicts with some other stuff I'm now doing in the app.

Quote:BTW PVRX2 appears to crash on exit when running in windowed mode
This is a long stand bug, which also affected GBPVR.exe, which happens if you start the app then exit before the listings have finished loading in the background. The workaround is to wait a little longer before exiting.
