I think the specs for the freesat epg data have not been made available.

That's very kind of you Sire. Does the new "TS Full" mux as seen in the new version of config provide what you require? (ISTR a full grab had to be done with a 3rd party app in the past).

thanks.

I would love it to do the EPG too but it seems that you can now get the few channels that I was missing from my Radio Times grab with digiguide for a tenner per year. I am tempted but have not had a chance to try yet as I have more pressing matters with the new PC....

Put pulling the data from the EPG stream is so much easier.

Hmmm, I get 0 length .ts files when I use Full TS mux. Well I've got a few weeks to see what I'm doing wrong. Slightly more of a problem is where to dump 200mb of data. My ISP limits me to 25mb and my old employer (where I was sysadmin) has changed staff so many times since I left that I couldn't leave a nas sat on their enormously wide educational connection.

Your right about the freesat epg specs but apprently mythtv has cracked it I think. I believe it's compressed in some format which makes it unreadable as standard dvb epg. Perhaps you could have a tinker sub? Rolleyes

spotted in another thread you supplied an updated gbpvrtsmon and now I get around 200mb in a minute.

(I have to say the Google search seems better than the forum one for some things).

Would you be OK with a link to a split RAR file?, I'm having trouble finding a 200mb depository and I thikn it would be more reliable uploading smaller parts.
