Beer is a non-count noun. However after a few, we say things like I had three beers. (hic-cup)

'Golfing' is a new addition to english which seems to have been added by the lazy folk(s) who prefer not to play golf. (fore)

I put 5 sugars in my coffee this morning... that's probably why I'm posting so much on this busy forum. (tweak)

It's good to see a Scot that is a pedant, so long as he doesn't also preach intonation or enunciation. (jab)
