Now using stustunz's instructions instead of running regsvr32 run cmd You should get a command prompt with Administrator... on the title bar.

You might see something by entering these commands

im afraid you will have to give better instructions. i cannot follow stuzsunzs instructions. you will have to type it all down exactly what i have to do . i am totally lost now with everything

Click on "Start",
Go to "Programs" -> "Accessories",
Right click on "Command Prompt"
Choose "Run as administrator".

You’ll be prompted to approve the action, and will then see a window that looks like this (notice the ‘Administrator:’ prefix!).

Now follow Martin's instructions:

there is no devnx in dir "C:\Users\dave\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\

I think task manager requires running as administrator, doesn't it (UAC prompt)? I disabled UAC so long ago that I can't remember.

I'm sorry you're having problems but I can assure you the program will work with Vista.
