Yes, that should solve the problem because I am indeed running two different servers. Thanks!

Hi,

I had already installed GBPVR on my Wibdows XP system and I'm able to watch GBPVR on my PC as wel on my PCH 110.
Now I also have installed NPVR version 1.5.28 on my Windows XP system and I'm also able to watch TV programs.

Now I have runned the program NMTInstall2.exe so I could also watch GBPVR or NPVR by the PCH-A110. During the installation I don't see any errors in the installation log:

But when I disable the GBPVR services and enable the NPVR services on my PC NPVR couldn't be started on my PCH A110?
I also disabled my Firewall on the PC.

Where could I start to solve the problem.

Kind regards,

The install looks fine so I suspect if you connected via GB-PVR.html things would work.
I can check further if you post the contents of the NMT Syntax check program, and your npvr logs.

Martin,

I just spoke to a colleague of my and discussed the situation:
A long time ago I installed GBPVR with GBPVR10407.msi installer on my PC and the PCH-A110 which has a local hard disk. So I could use GBPVR by a web link on the PCH.
So when I install the new NMTInstall2.exe the installation is not renewed on the internal hard disk of the PCH-A110.

So far I understand I have to update the software on the hard disk on the PCH or use an USB stick and use a network patch on the PCH to start NPVR or GBPVR.

Do you have a description how to adjust the software on the PCH hard disk so I'll could use the web link again or a new share on the PCH with internal hard disk?

Kind regards,

I haven't asked to update the CSI installer yet but I expect to do this soon so you will need telnet installed to copy mvpmcx2 manually. That being said you should have been able to connect with the old version to get NPVR so I'd still like to see see the NMT Syntax check.

Martin,

Sorry but what do you mean with the NMT syntax check?
After that I'll send it to you right away.

Richard, part of the problem could be you have NPVR set up to run at 1280x720 but you have a PAL monitor. You settings in GBPVR aren not perfect they might be wrapping, I suggest tryung something like

MVPWidth 600
MVPHeight 496
MVPOffsetX 20
MVPOffsetY 40

Martin,

Sorry for the long delay befor I repond but I had no time in between. I changed the settings in the config file of NPVR as you wrote to me but unfortuatnaly even then I was not able to start NPVR from my PCH.

So what kind of information do you need to invest the issue further?

Kind regards,

Richard
