Duplicate Recordings

Well - I have a duplicate again in 1.5.31. I'm assuming the above mentioned patch (which I haven't applied) is an integral part of the .31 version(?)

Recording in question was :

[SIZE="1"]Speedway Grandprix Nordisk GP, Vojens_20100911_19002200[/SIZE]

This recording was scheduled under 1.5.31. It was scheduled as a "Record Now" recording.

PS: I do not use the web sceduler at all, so it is not the source for me.

Got another one now. After having reinstalled with the newes version og 1.5.31 and applied almost all the fixes in the sticky for 1.5.31.

All I can see from that set of logs is that the show was in fact scheduled and recorded twice. However there's no way to know why, since you don't have the logs from when the show was scheduled in the first place.

My duplicates are back. They dissappeared after loading 1.3.51 but then returned slowly.

They accumulate over time. Initially there will be only one recording. But over several days the system will start to schedule more and more simultaneous recordings of the same show.

I am wondering if they are triggered by occassionally having no data for some channels in the epg. Just speculating.

Note my duplicates are only occuring for NEWA recordings. I mainly use title search.

I have no idea what NEWA does with it's recordings. UJB would probably need to take a look at the problem and ask me for any help he needs.

Do the go away when you do an 'update epg'? They should. When this happens it deletes all the show listings, and all the pending episodes of season recordings, then inserts the new show listings, then schedules new recordings for the listings in the database at that time, so there shouldnt be any duplicate shows listings etc.

Well - I have automatic daily EPG update, so that ought to take care of it by default? I don't normally look for them in the scheduled recordings, but simply observe that sometimes theer is an identical -0 recording for some shows.

Tried to do an update EPG anyway. I have two doublets for tomorrow morning - both unfortunately remained. All available loggs attached.

What EPG source are you using?
