In theory a bad battery shouldn't make the clock drift as long as the computer is plugged in; however theory isn't always reality. Various kinds of driver and OS problems can cause clock drift, but I would have thought any issue that severe would cause major problems with video recording and playback yet everything is great otherwise.

I have my NTP sync set to every 12 hours, but I still find it off by several minutes some evenings (first given away by a recording starting with 3 minutes of the previous show)... other evenings it stays spot-on.

I guess I'll replace the battery and see what happens. My HTPC chassis is a real PITA to get down to the motherboard though

Server - Client works fine here, a little bit lagging in HD-video while the OSD is showing, but it could be my videocard on the client. Give it a try.

I miss a small function which was available at gbpvr. When I start a recorded TV-show, I was able to jump to a desired position by clicking into the time graph at the top of the osd, in the npvr beta, I miss this function.

If you have NVidia ION graphics the OSD makes the video stutter a bit. I have this too, and had it on GB-PVR as well. Seems to be a limitation of the ION graphics, at least on Win 7 x64.
As soon as OSD disappears, stutter is gone.

Yep, it's an onboard NVidia graphics and I run W7x64.

No, I dont know. Its already as "non-Beta" as PVRX2 ever was.

The only thing stopping me from the removing the 'beta' part, is my inability to decide on a final name for the software.

Will Schedules Direct support be included in the "final" release?
