BTW: Any chance for an option to localize times and dates? I always see 2012-10-9 while in Germany we would use 9.10.2012. And we would not use 8:46pm but 20:46, so no am/pm box in the time selector.

Could you please confirm that you changed the language of your device say to German? When I do this on my ipod, dates are localized as you can see (latest version I am working on)... our are you referring to something else?

Please find attached a new version of the iNEWA application, compatible NPVR 2.5.5/NEWA 1.27 and above, simply replace the existing ./web/mobile directory with the one attached.

Changes:

-Some fixes/optimizations (e.g. switching between screens, search capabilities)
-Updated EPG handling (e.g. multipe days possible, date/day name shown, history epg events can be suppressed)
-Updated Search (e.g. ability to read stored NEWA searches)
-Improved globalization support (e.g. 12-24 Hrs switch)

Attached is a patch for iNEWA 1.27.2 (as included in NEWA 1.28 or posted in this thread) with few corrections:

-Failure reason is displayed again
-EPG listing change of start-date

To install, just replace files with the attached ones for the above mentioned version.

You able to make iNEWA support channel groups. So we can select a channel group and just get epg data for those channels

Just to make sure I understand: in iNEWA you would like the ability to optionally select/configure a channel group created in NPVR with some particular channels and the TV Listing in iNEWA would then only show these channels? Is this to reduce data send over mobile network/increase speed?

Yes this is to reduce data send which speeds up loading of the EPG. It also would help with finding a specific channel.

Maybe you could do it like this,

You select TV Guide, then you have a dropdown box saying Current Group at the top and the EPG below. You can choose All Channels, Group1, Group2, etc whatever your groups are called.
Then you can always change group quickly and easily.

Or maybe you can find a better layout or way to do it.

Then just in the settings page a default config to select the default group to load otherwise it would always load All Channels which would incur more data and loading

NEWA Guide (guide2.aspx CSS screen) implements it this way.

ok, I'll have a look at the guide2.aspx to add a similair functionality to iNEWA.

Attached iNEWA version 1.28 which adds support for Channel Groups. Default nothing changes, in Settings you will find 2 extra settings:

Channel Group: select the default channel group used by the TV Listing
Select Channel Group: when "on", you will be presented with a drop-down to select a channel group prior to displaying the TV Listing

After changes these settings, iNEWA needs to be restarted.

To install, just replace ./web/mobile directory with the attached one.

After installing AirPlayit I don't see the "Watch Recording" button. I followed the pdf help guide and did the following:

1) AirPlayit server installed
2) In Airplayit "server can be accessed by web browser" is checked
3) NPVR video dir is shared
4) enabled streaming in iNEWA

I am using iNEWA 1.27.2. Am I missing something? Thank you.
