Thanks.

I spent about an hour and half connected to your machine looking into this. I haven't managed to fix it, but it's definitely related to the "Freesat EPG" option, rather than specifically the DVB EPG option. If you'd just been using DVB-T, or just DVB-S, then things would have been a lot more straight forward.

I've temporarily switched most of the channels back to DVB EPG. Some, mostly radio, were Freesat only, so this wasn't going to be an option.

When you've got more time to experiment, we might have to try temporarily with just Freeview or just Freesat, to those behave when not used on a mixture of DVB-S and DVB-T channels.

One problem system has just the 1 physical receiver - no DVB-S.
DVB-T/T2 = 122 channels, DVB-C = 0 channels.
All channels show as source = DVB-T and EPG= DVB/ATSC.
It is the simplest system I have but still has patchy OTA EPG.

The rest of the receivers have no tuned DVB-C or DVB-S channels.
They have only been tuned with DVB-T/T2 channels.
All channels list EPG source as DVB-T or 2/3 sources

I hope this helps to narrow it down.

Cheers.

Is your problems most of your channels having no listings at all (like bobins), or do most of your channels having listings but lots of missing shows within those channels?

Can you do an Update EPG and post your npvr.log?

Yours should certainly be more straight forward to investigate.

Sub,

Thanks for the time you've spent on this. Hope access was smooth.

Sorry my system is more tricky for you. I started off with just FreeSat and then added the FreeView channels later as some are only available on Terrestial plus the amount of stuff the other half records meant sometimes there would be no tuners available so adding FreeView fixed that as some channels appear on both FreeSat and FreeView.

If you need me to reduce the channel list to say just FreeSat for you to investigate, happy to do that.

Yes, that'd probably be a worthwhile exercise.

Probably the best way is to backup your database, so you can get back to where you started, then delete the npvr.db3, and just use the DVB-S tuner to scan in the Freesat channels. ie, leaving just DVB-S configured, using Freesat. No DVB-T.

I can then try and get that working reliably before we reintroduce DVB-T.

Ok I'll try and make the Database changes after the recordings have finished tonight. I'll PM you when I've re-scanned just the FreeSat channels and re-enabled remote access.
I'll use the same details as before.
