Do you have 'update epg during live tv' ticked on the Settings->Misc screen?

Yes, i do. It is quick way how to get lost EPG back. Just start LiveTV for a while.

Hi Hoborg,

It seems to update only a few hours (you have the afternoon recording setup) , are you sure your EPG update is not just over the air and not
form eithre mc2xml or Schedule Direct.
Did you try the manual EPG update with the Channels to see if you have several days updated ?

Hello.
My issue is somehow connected with running NDigitalHost.exe, because if i kill it, there is no EPG issues at all.

I had this issue before a few months back, my fix was empty EPG remove the device and reboot the server and scanned for all new channel list and remapped everything then everything worked.

At the time I was using MC2XML and found it was pulling a mismatch ID as it had changed, not sure if this will help or not but I've not had any issues since I've done this.

Unfortunetly, disabling 'update epg during live tv' did not have any effect, the issue is still the same.

Hmm... I am having the same issue too. My EPG does not get updated at 230AM either. I will follow this thread to see if anyone has a suggestion. In the mean time, I'm going to try and use mc2xml but having issues creating the batch file it requires.

You're in the US, so probably not using the DVB EPG, so probably not the same issue as hoborg. What EPG are you using?

mc2xml no longer works. It stopped working back in July when Microsoft changed their EPG data provider.

Pretty much everyone in North America is using Schedules Direct these days.
