Here you go. I did the same ~5 second play, then the 60 second skip forward, waited for the audio and video to sync back up, and then clicked stop.

I've made a minor change. Does it help?

If not, logs again please. I've also added a couple of messages.

You're playing this directly on the machine, not via remote desktop or VNC etc? I can see some weird behaviour of the StreamTime (hardware clock, usually audio device), which I'm not yet able to explain.

I'm am playing it directly. However, I think you may have figured something out. I switched the Audio Renderer from Default to "AMD HDMI Output (High Defin" and it now skips really good. There might be less than a quarter second of slow motion video but it syncs right up.

Ok, that's good to know. It does sound like it's something to do with the clock values come out of your default audio renderer. Just can't work out why yet.

I've added a little more logging. Please reproduce with the original renderer.

Here you go Sub. And for your viewing pleasure, I've also included the good skip debug info using the AMD HDMI audio renderer using the same steps.

Just to add to the pile, I see the same behaviour on most recordings. i.e. when you skip, the audio skips, the video goes into fast forward, then slow motion for a couple of seconds and then catches up with the audio. Occasionally the video will freeze but the audio continues. The only way to recover the video when it freezes is to skip again. The "freeze" problem doesn't seem to happen if I select the LAV H264 decoder instead of Microsoft but the "Fast, Slow then Sync" issue still occurs.

My audio is set to default.

Can you briefly try the other audio renderer options you have, to see if (like z06racer66) you have one that behaves correctly.

It might be worth grabbing a .ts file from you two, so we can compare behavior.
