I'm happy to look at logs where you have set it to the correct something.dyndns.org or ip address.

With what you had in that log, it breaks the normal process of prepending "http://" etc, so your end up with "http://http://something.dyndns.org/:8866/...".

So make sure you have just the host name, no leading http:// and no trailing /

It might need to set <AllowRemoteStreaming>true</AllowRemoteStreaming> in your config.xml. This will probably get it stream. As I mentioned though - it sends a copy of the original streams to Kodi, so you'll need a very fast internet connection for it to work. You'd probably be better of using the web app remote, which instead uses a lower bitrate transcoded stream.

sitush Wrote:The Kodi device hasn't changed since before the Windows NPVR device went doo-lally and had worked ok for ages. The problem surely has to lie at the Windows/NPVR end because that is where the changes have happened.

I've just turned off the firewall completely at the NPVR end and still Kodi does not populate on the client. I then did as Sub suggested and attach the Kodi log.

That is the only issue that I see:

20:09:44 T:140223216436992 ERROR: SQL: Abort due to constraint violation
Query: INSERT INTO channels (iUniqueId, bIsRadio, bIsHidden, bIsUserSetIcon, bIsUserSetName, bIsLocked, sIconPath, sChannelName, bIsVirtual, bEPGEnabled, sEPGScraper, iLastWatched, iClientId, idEpg) VALUES (7167, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0, '', 'BBC Merseyside', 0, 1, 'client', 0, 770, -1)
20:09:44 T:140223216436992 ERROR: CommitInsertQueries - failed to execute queries
20:09:44 T:140223216436992 ERROR: PVR - Load - failed to load channel groups

There seems to be a known issue with Kodi see here:

https://github.com/kodi-pvr/pvr.hts/issues/172

And

Suggested workaround from last thread:

Clear Channel Data and let them reload...
Then reboot machine.
