Recordings ending early

As Graham said above, it seems to have recorded from 02:59:00 to 05:02:00, and I can see it downloading chunks consistently over that time.

How big was the file you ended up with?

It's interesting it's 4GB again. What filesystem are you using on that drive? You have to be using NTFS to get a file bigger than 4GB. If not, your file just stops growing at the 4GB.

it is exfat but this can handle files larger than 4gb and using nextpvr i have had files as large as 7gb, but with emby and prog it worked on same drive.. i just prefer nextpvr and wish this would just work

i am reformatting now to ntfs just to see it works better tonight

Is this a local drive, or a network drive?

Hopefully that NTFS will help (though googling exFAT sounds it should work to - but I don't have any first hand experience with exFAT), because I don't have a lot of other ideas. The logs look fine. It pretty weird both files were about 4GB though - might be worth doing some more tests to see if they stop about the same size.

ok so i have changed to ntfs and tried to record the oscars open8ng ceramony and full oscars both on same channel, openins was 1.5 hrs and full oscars 4 hours

nextpvr has recorded both but opening although 1.5 hrs in length only 1st 45mins plays and full oscars is only 2hrs in lengh so missed half of it

the files are 1.6gb and 5.8gb respectively

Those logs are all empty since you've restarted NextPVR several times since those recordings.
