It seems that NScriptHelper will fill the bill as long as I can use the &format=json parameter. I'd much rather leave the session/login mechanism to the experts. Can't wait to try it.
Won't the completion code be included in the output as a JSON entry? Of course, a failure may not produce JSON...
Thanks, Martin. The Get-FileHash is precisely what I had in mind. Although I'm much better off with not needing it, I may give the whole connection sequence a try just to get my feet wet. And &device=emby seems the right way to go.
