Sorry about the problem! What may have happened is that the service had not started so I didnt stop it but could have started before I entered the command. Not realised service was delayed start

Definitely as as requested this time! Reboot > Stop Service > Paste command into command window > start service > login to Web App > Settings > Devices > Scan using test ini file > Save logs !!

Log1 of first 3 Transponders. Log2 3 BBC Transponders

Is there any sign of verbose logging in any of the logs as dont know what to look out for. I have spent some time doing scans on two PCs with and without the command:-
set "NEXTPVR_VERBOSE=true"

The size of nrecord log seems to be around 60-80K with or without the extra logging. The first scan on clean install on a 2nd PC only found two channels and gave a 130K log but later scans were half the size as more channels were detected.

I confirm VERBOSE is on by going to guide and you can see verbose log messages loading the icons.

I still cant see any [VERBOSE] messages in those logs, so I'm not really sure what is going on there.

I've attached a new version of the dll, that uses just regularly logging for the couple of messages I was looking for. Try that one and post the logs again.

I think it is to do with this:
Code:
2020-02-13 18:02:12.785    [DEBUG][25]    10758,V,22000,56,DVB-S,QPSK

2020-02-13 18:02:14.828    [DEBUG][27]    Got SDT (0 of 2)
2020-02-13 18:02:15.626    [DEBUG][27]    Got SDT (1 of 2)
2020-02-13 18:02:16.424    [DEBUG][27]    Got SDT (2 of 2)

2020-02-13 18:02:16.467    [DEBUG][25]    10773,H,22000,56,DVB-S,QPSK

2020-02-13 18:02:16.904    [DEBUG][27]    Got SDT (2 of 2)
2020-02-13 18:02:17.089    [DEBUG][27]    Got SDT (0 of 2)

2020-02-13 18:02:17.738    [DEBUG][25]    10788,V,22000,56,DVB-S,QPSK

2020-02-13 18:02:18.557    [DEBUG][27]    Got SDT (2 of 2)
2020-02-13 18:02:18.727    [DEBUG][27]    Got SDT (0 of 2)
2020-02-13 18:02:19.597    [DEBUG][27]    Got SDT (1 of 2)
ie, on 10773, it only got 2 of the 3 parts (0 & 2, not 1)

It looks like it's moved on to the next frequency too quickly, not giving it a chance to wait for all the bits to arrive. It looks like it spent just over a second on 10773,H,22000,56,DVB-S,QPSK.

OK will give it a try and let you know. Several days ago when installing SAT>IP on my V4 server I got the impression that V4 scans were at a more gentle pace and V5 scans seemed much faster.

They're entirely unrelated code. Yes, v4 and v5 behave very differently regarding SAT>IP.

After several different scans there is a noticeable improvement but not 100%. Repeating the earlier 3 transponder scans BBC transponders were the least reliable where frequently only one channel was detected now only about one channel is missing. However moving up to the first 10 transponder it is a more modest improvement from 70 to 80 channels detected from a total of 130. I will look at things in more detail in the morning to see on which transponders the missing channels are on!

Thanks Chris
