Before I could run the "correct" program I tried another install. This time I turned off an anti-virus added program. (never gave me a problem B4 .. but it IS an always running real time thing) After turning that off .. I did another install attempt and NOW the install is working better .. I SEE my devices listed etc. when clicking on the Npvr tray status icon. Yay !!
But I'm back to the ORIGINAL problem which has always been regarding the channel setup. I now get no connection to the Schedules Direct link. I'm trying to scan the first tuner and all is input correctly etc. and when I hit enter .. nothing. no errors, no activity, just sits there until I close the window. Let me double check at the Sched. Direct web site directly to see if I can still access my account.
Thanks for hanging in there for me. Having a lot of trouble navigating around Win 10. I HAVE been using 10 on two other computers since it first came out. NO problems at all. But I have both those systems modified and configured so they fit my needs and they work and look like the old win 7 pro system. That was several years ago. This brand new Win 10 install doesn't look or play anything like my other two Win 10 pcs. (It originally was a long and complicated process to make 10 work the way "I" wanted) So I apologize as I am sorta re-acquainting myself with this fresh original win 10 environment. I'll get used to it eventually.
Let now try to figure out what's up with the sched. direct thing not working.
