Custom NPVR image with ffmpeg, ccextractor, handbrake, comskip, etc.

Just dropping a note that I am working on an updated image.
A few of the libraries in the base image are now less than what is required to build Comskip so I am trying various options.

Would you mind posting your solution when you figure it out? I have a version of my Python3 image that includes Comskip, and I finally gave up on the current Comskip and went back to the slightly older one just to get the build done. I’d like to update it though.

Still having some issues -- I'll let you know if I am successful. I have one build working for Comskip, but NPVR then complains about invalid libssl.

OK, I've uploaded a new image with the latest.

My solution, for better or worse, was to base a new Docker image off the latest Ubuntu, build everything, just in case of conflicts with ffmpeg5 copy all of comskip's libraries to its own lib directory and point it at them, add in manually the deprecated libssl that .NET Core 3.1 requires to run, and then install NPVR to it.

I can provide additional details about the sausage making if anyone wants.

Did you just copy in the original /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libssl.so.1.1 I know on LibreElec that is what is needed.

I tried linking to it without luck.  Instead I grabbed the libssl1.1_1.1.1l-1ubuntu1.2_amd64.deb file from an Ubuntu mirror for a previous OS version and installed it.

Thanks, this is going to be and issue on the newest OS builds going forward. On LE I just needed to put the correct version in the lib folder and it got resolved, no linking involved, I am trying to find a solution for all users. Fortunately sub is planning to move to netcore 6.

Ooof. I’ll just wait until sub moves to Netcore6 and see how it goes building off that. The older Comskip works fine for now on my Python image, and I’m not willing to put in the time to build something from scratch.

I found an issue with VAAPI hardware acceleration in the new image. The name of the Intel driver changed and so the correct version wasn't being included in the image.

This has been corrected and a new image uploaded.

Has anyone got this image working with nvidia acceleration?
