I finally got it to install. Spent a lot of the day on it. I tried upgrade and fresh install with the same condition, the software uninstalled at the end of the installation process.

I fixed it by installing the latest version on a different PC, uninstalling the old version on the original PC, then copying the denz folder from the new machine over to the old one and reinstalling the new software version over top. It works now.

Thought this might help some of you.

i'm sure Sub is about ready to kill me but here it goes.

i'm using a pvr 350 and wanting to use the FM radio thing.
every function on the new upgrade seems to work but i
can't get this one going.

i figured out how to manually add a station and edit it it's name
but can't figure out how to get the "scan" feature to.

when i try to play a station i get

Failed to communicate with the Recording Service

i haven't installed Lame, for reason i thought Sub said you wouldn't
need it for this install.

Is there a guide written up for setting this up?
i just can't figure this one out.

I probably won't be any help but I had lame already installed for other software. I didn't get an error message but didn't hear any sound. It was playing as I could tell from the recording service.
Do you have a scan button? Mine magically started working after I burned a dvd...go figure.

using the pvr 350 i can get the scan button if i change playback to none-use software encoder. is yours set to that now?

I hit the wall with the upgrade Sub - gone back to 92.11 - on latest windows updates etc.

I noticed the yellow button no longer works as a last channel key in live tv. I had just discovered that it did that a few weeks ago and I used it a lot. Any reason why it no longer works, or did I change some setting somewhere that I didn't notice?

Sorry, but I needed the yellow key for something else.

On the 45 button hauppauge remote, you can use the 'Prev Ch' key for this, or Ctrl-W on the keyboard.

there just isnt enough keys....

I too had problems with the install process; it gets to the end - adding registry settings - and then reports a fatal error and uninstalls itself. I can't try the workaround suggested above as my *other* machine runs win98 (stop laughing).

I've rolled back to 9211; any ideas on why I can't install?
