Anyone?

What type of recording are you trying to convert (DVR-MS or MPG, also in your case HDTV or SD) and what are you trying to convert to (WMV/XVID/DIVX or DVR-MS to MPG)?

BTW, is your zap2it problem resolved now?

The TV Guide playtime indicator is a nice touch. Just noticed that this morning.

Thx for the MPEG1 fix.

I see the same behaviour, and it is somewhat annoying, So if this could get fixed as well at some point it would be great :-)

Otherwise I appreciate the channel list update, which I think has been the reason for me to have to reenter 2*34 channels twice after it had bailed on me for no reason and dropped the recording sources completely.

Well, today a whole new set of problems. I was watching LiveTV and hit the Guide button and got a black error box on the screen to the effect that no channels were set up. I tried using the web interface and the listing is empty, nada, zip, nothing in the guide.

So I rebooted and got the same results. I can watch Live TV but the guide is empty. So I can the CONFIG and tried updating the EPG from there. It requested and processed the Zap2It listing data and then as it was trying to save the data I got an error "Failure in ChannelFactory:ConfusedtoreChannels() No Current Record".

Actually, I'm trying to convert everything I record (mpeg and DVR-MS) to Xvid. I basically configured GB-PVR to convert my recorded shows using the highest quality settings. Not a single show has been converted thus far. That's why I wanted to know if and where the conversion process is logged just in case I did something wrong.

I won't know until tomorrow. Like I mentioned before, the manual EPG update worked fine but the scheduled nightly update did not. The next scheduled update doesn't occur for another 7 hours so I won't know if it was a fluke or a legitimate issue until then.

Sub,

Good job!! Memory managment, GBPVR takes less memory on my setup. Also, the access to the guide is a lot faster and therefore a lot faster on MVP as well.

Thanks for all your hard work.

They're probably all failing for the same reason. Can you post your GBPVRConvert.exe-native.log?

Sub,

Has anyone else experienced an installer roll back problem with this version other than me? After the failed install the old GBPVR.exe file is no longer in the GBPVR directory and the program won't run.

dneprrider Wrote:Just tried to install this version and get the error unable to complete installation and the installer rolls back all the files. A similar error existed in a previous installer too, but was fixed.

I just tried a reboot of the machine and the installer worked this time. Must be a windows thing. If all else fails reboot and try again.

Regards to all.
