Hey nice to see another release and a few bugs fixed, I'm personally not going to upgrade just yet after the .net error last time I updated. Had to rebuild my PC from scratch.

Although I know what I'm like, be up at 3am updating to the newest release on the server, havin the misses shouting to go to bed. lol.

Keep up the good work Sub!
Smile

p.s. just ordered myself a MVP to fiddle with, let you know in the MVP section how it goes.

I'm trying out the revised transcode function but the settings button stays greyed out when I select XviD (WMV is OK). The XviD encoder is installed (tried both 1.1.0 and 1.0.3). I don't have the Elecard decoder installed but I'm guessing this is no longer a recommended option? I also then installed DivX 6 but that did not then come up as an option in the decode drop down box.
Am I missing something? Cheers

I decided against reinventing the wheel. The transcoding is now based on FFmpeg. If you look in config.xml, you'll find the following settings which define each of the profiles. You can add additional profiles if you need to, or change them to use whatever settings you want. See http://ffmpeg.sourceforge.net/ffmpeg-doc.html for more info.

Code:
<CustomFFmpegConversions>
    <Conversion name="XviD" cmd="-i {SOURCE_FILE} -f avi -vcodec xvid -b 1250 {DEST_FILE}" targetExtension=".avi" />
    <Conversion name="Video Ipod" cmd="-i {SOURCE_FILE} -f mp4 -vcodec mpeg4 -s 320x240 -r 15 {DEST_FILE}" targetExtension=".mp4" />
    <Conversion name="Sony PSP" cmd="-i {SOURCE_FILE} -f mp4 -vcodec mpeg4 -s 320x240 -r 15 {DEST_FILE}" targetExtension=".mp4" />
    <Conversion name="Mobile .3GP" cmd="-i {SOURCE_FILE} -acodec aac -vcodec mpeg4 -s qcif -aspect 4:3 -hq {DEST_FILE}" targetExtension=".3gp" />
  </CustomFFmpegConversions>

sub Wrote:OK, I'm looking in to this.

I havnt seen this myself when I'm using my MVP, and none of the other guys testing the pre-release indicated they had this problem.

Can you tell me what CPU you have in your machine?
sub i noticed this error was printing out to the gbpvr.exe.log file but didnt get a popup message, so i presumed it was a handled error, thats why i didnt say anything.
