CNN Video Plugin

Glad that that's working well for you now. For the next week and a half I'm not going to be able to work on the plugin. Do you guys think that it's polished enough (with the exception of the video window) to be released?

I really like the CNN plugin. There are many video-websites that i'd like to view via GBPVR. Currently i'm working on a plugin that shows reruns of Dutch public TV-shows (uitzendinggemist.nl). I think it would be great if there was one GBPVR-plugin that could be extended with all kinds of websites. Like a plugin that could be extended with plugins for different websites. Do you like this idea?

I wrote a HTML-scraper, including a cookie-handler. The scraper gets all video-streams + subpages from a page. By calling WMP the video is shown fullscreen. It works on my development machine. But somehow, it doesn't work on my real HTPC: links can't be found and the wrong video-streams are found (.rm instead of .asf). I think it has something to do with cookie-settings; i'm investigating it.

The first thing we need to work out is how the "mini-plugins" will communicate with the main plugin. I propose that each mini-plugin has a method that would create an .xml file containing title, URL and date information.

This would allow mini-plugin developers to code their plugins in any way they wish, as long as it produces a proper .xml file. What do you think? Are there easier/simpler ways to do this?
