I'm a new GBPVR who's just spent a couple of frustrating weeks trying to get an Hauppauge HVR1300 to work under MythTV. GBPVR worked straight off and looks like (almost) the perfect solution but I'm missing one feature - support for dual-language transmission (nicam?). I found some earlier references to this issue - did it make it into 0.99.5?

I haven't installed it yet but just from reading the release notes it's a killer upgrade. You're work is awesome.

Sorry but no, this isnt something I've worked on (or even been planning to). Maybe in future release though.

Did the install last night and it went perfect. Shutdown all the services, did the install and rebooted the box. Came right back up, and works great. Thanks again for a great product sub. Don't forget that if you appreciate it as much as I do, drop sub a donation. I did, just to show how much I appreciate all his work.

Quote: - Added a 'TS Mux' option to the BDA Multiplexer list, which might be useful for ATSC users that have mux problems.
Now this is what I wanted but was afraid to ask for! This will create files that are compatible with the other ATSC capture cards and the files will play in MediaPlayerClassic without needing any extra filters or software.

Too bad you can't use the MyHD MDP-120/130 hardware mpeg decoder as a playback device. I could build a full HD HTPC with a 1Ghz CPU and a low end GPU if you could.

I suspect this mux option will be quite useful for ATSC users that have problems getting good recordings. This type of muxing is much simpler than muxing to a program stream file, and doesnt require any of the complex timestamp and buffer management, so much less likely to have problems (as seen with Cyberlink mux + ATSC etc).

Hi,

thanks for the work. Somehow with the new version my problems with the cyberlink mux 5.0.2022 using the thecnotrend TT-1500 C seems to have vanished away. Merry christmas.

Quote:- Now possible to update end time or post padding on recordings that have already started.

Thanks! This will come in very handy for sporting events that go into overtime or I want to record post-game stuff without making a separate recording.

But what about changing the start time or pre-padding of recordings that have already started? Big Grin

Heh, just kidding, but if you can pull that off, that'd be very impressive, seeing as though you'd probably have to invent time travel to do it...
