Sorry about the massive delay - work sort of piled it on... (I would complain, but what can you do?)

Anyway, it was due to security, some browsers lock out downloading of .dll files (which is a good thing really). Anyway, there's a .zip file there now which shouldn't cause you any problems.

When I get 5 minutes I'll hopefully put up a web interface which should make it a touch more user friendly.

I'm looking for mainconcept mpeg splitter demux driver. I did a google K-Lite Codec Full has it. But, I'm concern about installing that package with all it's different drivers. I noticed main concept is not part of this catalog. Does anyone know where I can download this driver!Smile

I don't know if this will help, but Hauppauge uses a Mainconcept/Elecard filter set with the HVR1600/1800 cards. I don't know if they will install if a Hauppauge card is not present in the PC. The filters can be used for playback/decoding but the mux portion cannot be used with GB-PVR, if that was what you were thinking. (since that was the purpose of this forum thread) It is the hcwSMD07.exe file on the installation disk which can be obtained at shspvr.com http://www.shspvr.com/smf/index.php?topic=11421.0 (it might just be labled SMD07.exe)

You can also get it from Hauppauge. http://www.hauppauge.com/pages/support/s...r1600.html
You'll only need the hcwSMD07.exe file from the disk image, IIRC.

As a general comment on the subject of muxing, its worth noting that a new checkbox has appeared in the 1.2.9 release on the misc tab, named 'use cached channel sequence headers', which enabled may improve muxing quality for all mux filters.

ATI shows up in Mux checker as the only listed mux. Log shows:

2008-06-22 07:02:01.968 ERROR No mux filter found. Exiting...

Goal at the moment is to just convert dvr-ms to something/anything smaller. in Processing tab i have it set to convert dvr-ms recordings to mpeg-2.

Thanks in advance.

The GBPVRConvert.exe utility only ever uses a mux called "Cyberlink MPEG Muxer".

The muxes listed by MuxChecker, and selectable in the config app, are only selectable for the mux used at recording time.
