International Cinema Listings plugin version 5.0 (for PVRX2)

Hey McBainUK,

I've talked to a friend of mine. He's willing to look at the code. I don't think he wants to be a permanent coding partner. On the other hand he might get enthousiastic (not sure this is the spelling but you get the picture) and you never get rid of him.

He has experiance in websites, programming, system administrator and that sort of things. He wants to look at the coding part of collecting movie info and downloading trailers. The rest of the code is not necessary according to him.

If you think that could be helpfull let me know. If you think so let me know how you want to exchange information. The logical way is that I give his email address to you in a private message and that you two sort it out.

ooh ooh, I got to play with PVRX2 last night... so I have some questions

when looking at the info section of a film (in the popup) if it is really long, it gets truncated, and there is no way to scroll (that I can tell anyways). any way that could be added?

also, it seems like the buttons in the popup are getting mangled, the background looks like it is getting stretched too far, beyond the little box for the buttons, but I couldnt find anything wrong with my skin. they are getting stretched sideways, not vertically. and I couldnt really tell where the buttons are actually defined in the popup anyways.
I guess I should have posted this last night, when I could have posted my skin files and a screenshot... but I suck, and this is all you get :p

The ability to scroll was lost in the GBPVR->PVRX2 UI change. It maybe that I could add another film info page as an option, for those with lots of info from the source.

its not that big of a deal, I was trying to break it to be completely honest

I dont think many people use IMDB as their source, and that is basically the only info source that will fill more than one screen with crap (right?), that I quite honestly dont care about.

why do you want the showings.xml file? do you think it is causing a problem with the skin?
I will gladly include it... but I was pretty sure that this was a skinning problem, so i will make sure to include the cinema skin folder, as well as baseskin.xml

yeah, its sassari trying to get some work done on it (usually I get motivated when the girlfriend feels a need to watch big brother)

If you attach your skin files and all the cinema XML files I can look at the problem on my machine without having to enter your cinema IDs and refresh the listings.

refresh listings.... havnt done that in a bit (26 days I think) since its just my dev machine... hope that isnt a problem.

Not a problem. If the zip is too big for the forum than just mail it me (address is in the user profile).
