Lindsay Wrote:Spoke too soon re friend's install. LiveTV gives a black screen and returns to main menu. Logs attached. I can see a couple of errors but "Failure playing back file" sounds fatal. Time 20:48.

It was OK using 1.0.8 prior to update to 1.0.16.

Thanks.

(Vista with PVR150).

Try running reregisterfilters.bat

You may also want to consider switchin from the Nero decoder to something else. Its been known to cause problems for some users.

Remco Wrote:I noticed you implemented a LCD-plugin? I already had a plugin for driving my iMon-LCD, but now it is overriden by yours i guess. I'm sorry, but i like my own plugin more (e.g. it displays the next recording); is there some way to disable the built-in plugin?
This is a simple builtin iMon plugin, but I'd thought it was supposed to be disabled by default. You can disable it by setting <LCDType>none</LCDType> in config.xml

Zathras Wrote:Sub,

I don't think this is necessarily a GBPVR issue. I experienced the same problem on all 3 computers that have GBPVR installed (1 server - 2 client). For some reason when PVRX2 tries to open for the first time it appears that Zonealarm does not allow it to access the network. When I open the old version (non-PVRX2) I get the standard Zonealarm Pop-up... This file has changed.. blah blah blah..... After clicking yes (to access network) and using the GBPVR.exe file I can then close GBPVR.exe open PVR2.exe and use it no problem.
Sorry, I'd have no idea about the inner workings of Zonealarm, and cause it to trigger its popup.

Getting following error during install. Have re-downloaded, cleared cache, saved on a different disk etc. Any chance this is a problem with the msi file?

"Error 1335. The cabinet file 'Cabs.w1.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used....."

Thanks!

I got the same problem too ! Can anyone help me ?

I'm not sure how the file could have become broken overnight on the server, but I'm uploading it again now. It should be there in a few minutes.

I am still getting Error 1335. Also I notice that the download seems to complete in only about two seconds. My internet connection is not that fast!
