Thanks for that sub and sorry to put you to the trouble of joining the file.
below should be just over 200mb of full TS that prduces "unknown" channel names and odd data from the Compupro dvb-s tuner.
Running the .ts file through tsreader produces station names .

again, many thanks.

I wonder if you managed to have a peek at the problem sub? or should we dump the things and try something else?

I'm downloading these files now.

Are all the channels found, but with the name set to unknown, or are some channels missing?

Sorry I thought you'd grabbed them before as they showed as having been downloaded.

I think on that frequency all the channels were found, but were shown as "unknown" I have a scan.cache file attached with what shows - although it is not one from that full-ts that you are grabbing, but show what is captured a day or so either side of the full ts.

The second table is what someone else posted as their cache file from a different, but "working" tuner some days later I think.

NOTE: the forum seems to be adding spaces again - they are NOT in the cache file.

Many thanks again for your time.

The problem Videomate tuner:-

I wonder if you've had any thoughts on this sub? If I feed the .ts file into tsreader it seems to pull the channel names out.

The board seems to work well using cache files from other peoples tuners, it would be a shame not to be able to use it properly.

cheers

I did grab this file. Initially I wasnt able to scan with this file (buffer overflow), and I made some small changes to the PsiParser filter to correct this. With this, and the 'ignore PMT CRC errors on scan' enabled, I seemed to pick up all the channels ok. I'm not if this accounts for the "UnknownX" channel names you were getting, but it'll be worth trying.

Unfortunately my build has moved on a bit too far and is no longer compatible with 1.2.13, so I cant provide those changes as a patch.

OK thanks very much for that. I think gbpvr was picking up all the channels, just that they were all named "unknown". I look forward in anticipation to the next release.

thanks again

I too look forward to getting this working correctly during a scan.

I have just rebuilt my new system as a result of a drive failure and have to go throught the pain of the scan cache editing again to get the channels I want.
