I dont suppose you've had any thoughts on being able to select alternative audio tracks? I have some disks that have the tracks in weird orders, so you get the DD2.0, or worse the French track by default. It's very annoying!! Otherwise this is a fantastic plugin! Smile

Yup, I'm looking into doing that with MPC-HS's stream switcher.

I know demuxers and filters as well as I know particle physics so I need little help setting this up.

I've gotten as far as getting an image from BluRay discs or AnyDVD rips in GBPVR (1.4.7), but the image is very pixelated with periods of rainbow like nothingness. I have the MPC HC filters installed and when I use Graphstudio it works perfect, but I can't translate that performance to GBPVR.

GraphStudio Flow
.m2ts -> MPC MPEG Splitter -> MPC Video Decoder -> VMR9
[INDENT][INDENT][INDENT] \> ffdshow Audio Decoder -> Sound Device[/INDENT][/INDENT][/INDENT]

I used Graphstudio to set the filter merits per this thread. There must be something else I'm missing.

Can you post your pvrx2.exe-native.log showing an attempt to play an m2ts file?

It's loading the Nero splitter and AC3Filter. Check the merit on them and lower them. In AC3Filter Configuration, you may have to select "Prefer other decoder" in the system tab.

Code:
2009-12-06 12:30:20.921    VERBOSE    Graph contains the following filters:
2009-12-06 12:30:20.921    VERBOSE     - Default DirectSound Device
2009-12-06 12:30:20.921    VERBOSE     - Video Renderer
2009-12-06 12:30:20.921    VERBOSE     - AC3Filter
2009-12-06 12:30:20.921    VERBOSE     - MPC - Video decoder
2009-12-06 12:30:20.921    VERBOSE     - Nero Splitter
2009-12-06 12:30:20.921    VERBOSE     - D:\Movies\BSG_S1_D3\BDMV\STREAM\00067.m2ts

I would never have found that the Nero demux was loading. Thanks

Lowering the merit of the Nero splitter didn't change anything so I unregistered it and now it works like a champ.Smile

Updated the first post with bitstreaming info and a registry entry to force the MPC splitter as the default source filter for Blu-rays. I'll be updating the plugin shortly to support playing mpls for seamless playback.

Guys, if you do not want to do all steps manualy, you can try to use SAF 4.0beta21test6 (or newer) - link below, it will install and configure all decoders/splitters/registry automatically, block AC3 filter, etc... I just hit this thread and i can see it using same settings to play M2TS as SAF.

You still nedeed to have AnyDVD HD installed.
