Many thanks sub. Upgraded like a piece of cake. No issues at all.

One additional benefit is that the Pinnacle 4000I dual DVB-S card works better. Before it just worked with live TV and 0 byte recordings, now it works for live TV and recording. Scans still find nothing, but I'm getting used to using other folks cache files now.

bda.ini entry.

PIN_CAPTURE_IN=input0
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=output1

Are there any considerations between 32 or 64 bit Windows 7? Does both work equally well with gbpvr?

I've got 2 systems running W7 x64 working fine and dandy so far. I can't tell any difference from when I was running the 32 bit beta.
I have had a problem or two with some plugins that we haven't yet narrowed down and I have thought whether it could be 64 bit related but just don't know yet.

Upgraded from 1.3.7. Looks like it plays and records, but upon startup a big error window pops up saying I/O error, can't find plugin files, with a big list after that. Going into Configuration, no plugins are listed even if they do exist when you start PVRx2 the player. D'oh. I never have much luck with upgrading.

Oh well, saved a bunch of my config files. Will do a full reinstall.
I bet Michael Bay uses GBPVR because it's awesome:

I can report of one problem for users of the program HIP, that I use to intercept MCE remote commands and send them to gbpvr as keyboard commands. HIP does not work in 64 bitSad. Got the message from the author that it can take a while to fix. So I will be downgrading from 64 bit to 32 because of it. Otherwise 64 bit worked perfectly.

Either should be ok.

I am aware of there being a Microsoft bug with the DVB-T Network Provider in Win7 64 bit release candidate, which could cause it to crash. I'm not sure if they fixed this issue in the final Win7 release though. Hopefully they did.

Post the bug and logs in the support forums and I'll take a look.

I use Eventghost for the same purpose. I think it works in 64-bit, though I've not tried it.
