Must... have... new... GBPVR... release... !!!

I need it. I must have it. Where is it? Please tell me.

OK. I'm fine now. Just had to get that out of my system. Big Grin

(BTW - 1.4.7 has been working in a most stellar manner for me for some time now. Recently upgraded to Win7, reinstalled GBPVR and have analog and digital tuners working like a dream - no issues. Great work to everyone involved, especially you sub!) Smile

Unfortunately the weekend drifted by with no release, but I'm still working hard on it, and the testers are looking at all sorts of things. Lets aim for this weekend.

Looking forward to it! Will this new release address any of the issues 1.4.7 had with the MVPs?

Yes and/or no. Sorry, but I'd rather hold off talking about the next release until its posted.

Woo hoo! Been a rough week form a tech stand point...no iPhone on Verizon, plus UAT at the office was a train wreck. I am now working forward to a 3 day weekend, a new PC build and a new GBPVR. Now if only Comcast would bring back clear QAM!

I haven't heard anything good about Comcast in about 3 years. Are they in the running for pissing off more customers than anyone else? Are you not getting ANY QAM channels now?
I read recently that some users (in an area I can't recall now) found out Comcast shut off all QAM by accident. Enough people complained that they realized their mistake and fixed things. Of course, only the local channels were working but that's something.

In my area, Comcast shuts off (or stops broadcasting) individual channels randomly on QAM. I think, maybe they have just moved, but a rescan brings up goose eggs. Then, they will reappear on the same frequency the next day... go figure.

Sometimes I think they do this on purpose. I've been lucky....Cox, while they admit they aren't crazy about all the 'rules' for QAM, hasn't given me a problem (yet). Nothing says they have to keep the locals on the same frequency but it almost seems to me it would be more work moving things around than just leaving things alone.
