To quick on the wrong button

Here are the NPVR logs:

First I'll stopped the GBPVR server and tryed to start NPVR from the link on the PCH. After that I moved the program mvpmcx2 from my windows system to the PCH. But that also didn't work. I just thougt the last option couldn't work because a Windows executable couldn't work om the PCH.

I hope the logs explain more.

There does seem to be some requests getting through but not enough to start the connection. The typical explanation would be a firewall, but is it possible you haven't stopped the GBPVR MVP server by setting it to zero?

Martin,

When I close the fire wall Ill get the following logs (atached) but my screen keeps black.

What do you mean by "stopped the GBPVR MVP server by setting it to zero?

Kind regards,

Richard

To answer your question you cannot have GBPVR and NPVR servers for the NMT running on the same machine. To disable the GBPVR server go to GBPVR config program and then go to the MVP & NMT tab, where you should set the number of servers to AutoStart to 0 and click OK.

Your logs are odd so this is the most likely cause.

Martin,

And on one day there was lightSmile
I reinstalled mpvmcx2 a couple of days a go with the NMT installer and when I start the link on my PCH now NPVR ist started.

So I'll could go on with setting up NPVR.

Trying to to set up an A110 with NPVR. ran the install program, seemed to complete successfully.
However NPVR doesn't show up as a source on the A110 opening screen. Should iit?
By browsing through the network on the A110 and selecting the MVPMC, then HPVR html directory on my server I do get to an NPVR screen, but neither of the two options will do anything. The NPVR option just replies 'request cannot be fulfilled' or something like that. the option for NPVR via web browser just throws me back to the A110 opening screen
I also have a Hauppauge MVP on the network, which shows the NPVR screens and works OK, except it can't play ts files of course.
I find the A110 instructions a bit obscure so perhaps I am doing something wrong with it???
Quoted below is the output from the syntax checker and attched is the MVP log

You won't see NPVR as a source, you need to add the mvpmc as a share, using the NMT Setup->Network Share to browse to MEDIA:mvpmc and select add. Do not assign a Sharename, just leave the URL as is.

After that go to source select MEDIA:mvpmc, hit the blue button or scroll the the right icon and hit enter and then select N-PVR.html It sound complicated, but MEDIA:mvpmc should get stored as default and you won't have to select it very often.

However before you do that, you have to setup the proper Video settings in the NMT software, currently it is set as Auto which will not work.

Thanks
Did all that
Appears on source page and seems to default to it now, as you said
BUT still get 'request cannot be processed' if i go to N-VPR via network browser
If i choose N-PVR the screen flashes goes grey, then blank (ie no signal), then grey again then eventually puts me back at the start page
Is this a password problem??
