tmrt send the file, the following day and I had some time to merge it and test it a bit tonight. To toggle file selections S,Stop or Select from menu. Backing out of a directory removes all the tagged selections.

Tagging does not currently work for Archive, it is hard one to abort so I will probably just allow this on a per file basis.

Other changes

- [X] for tagged files and "Found" for files in npvr.db3 do show on the file list Jaggy you can make this look better I am sure.
- change skin size for the file list , I was having some timeout hangs and I think this is the reason.
- improved mouse support a bit.

To install

Replace skin.xml in Skin\Default\Files other files replace in Plugins\Files

Got it, I check it out tonight and let you know it goes. One question, you said it worked with files, it does let me tag multiple directories, will it move more than one directory?

Yes but by design tmrt has it that if you enter into a directory to check the files, you will lose all the other selections so it's better to plan ahead and then select.

These changes certainly make it look quite different don't they??

Everything in my skinning mind says changing the width of <Element name="ListView" from 100 down to 73 should also affect the placement of <Element name="ListItemNormal" but for this plugin that doesn't seem to be the case which gives me an uneasy feeling (it is also quite possible I could be totally wrong with that as it's been a very long time since I have done any skinning)

disregard that last bit I was wrong....

I just tried it by modifying the default recordings skin & yep I was totally wrong with that comment.....

But it should still be able to display "ListView" at position 0 & 100 wide without a problem as that is what all the other default skins do??

I don't know if it was the right choice, I just wasn't sure if the list box background should extend behind the menu window, but it does make the menu a bit dark. The other stuff I did to change mousing might have been what stops the hanging so feel free to revert to 100.

The issue I couldn't logically understand was clicking in the menu area was also clicking the list area.

I didn't see your edit until just now when I logged on to upload this draft skin, I will have a play around with my mouse (& look at that section of the skin) next time I get a chance to have a play...

I've run out of time right now but attached is my initial though on this lot of skin mods.... unfortunately to use them would need some code change your end... I have only edited the not selected element at this stage, if you could have a quick look that would be great

I queued up 14 directories to move that had one recording each in them, movies, and when I came back later NPVR had "quit" working. Things look like they moved and nothing appears to be missing from the ready recordings menu

Ok, moved 8 and updated all accordingly but it immediately dies on one particular directory. It looks like it dieing one one that already exists, however when I select just the one directory, it comes back and tells me that it exists as I would expect, now I selected the last 6 again and off it goes just like it's supposed to. Intermittent random gremlins, Rolleyes
