One issue I ran into was the screen saver would come on and I’d record hours of screen savers. First I turned off sleep mode on the receiver to keep it from powering off (it’s in settings somewhere)Then I created a batch file that runs every hour and sends the info button signal, then two seconds later sends an exit. This prevents the screensaver from ever coming on since it detects activity. So if recording a movie the menu flashes up for two seconds - I’m fine with that. This has worked well for me for the last 8 or 9 months.
