NYPlayer, in windows control panel, I do not see where you open it for clients and server. Everything is on one PC, does this matter?

Thanks again

If it is on 1 PC it does not matter .. I would still open that Port on the PC in case I add future clients. Also that port needs to be opened if you want to use the web-server for remote scheduling etc..

I added the rules for the port. I still have the firewall turned off until I am sure there are no other issues. Then I will know where the problem originates.

Mallevand, that custom build is awesome!

Regarding the time shift feature I would like to ask another question for my clarity. In Kodi under where I have added the NPVR client enabled and configuration under advanced setting with enable time shift selected. Is this all I have to do?
In settings under NPVR I have set up Channels direct for each channel.

Also the EPG will only show one time of day for all channels or one channel with many times. Perhaps there is another add in I should use?

Thanks

The tuner no longer available is back. I have submitted logs 419914,419915. Windows firewall is Off for both private and public networks. I did do a rescan of channels in HDHOME RUN verified that they are native and have the HD channels back. In NextPVR the channels are renumbered to be in integers. I am clueless.
Thanks

You've made a big change, your last logs were to the localhost now they are to 192.168.1.12. If you are running a remote client it should never have been 127.0.0.1 Also get rid of the dual audio build for now since there are so many audio errors in log it is hard to think what is good. Only use custom builds on your own time. It definitely started streaming video.

that IP is the address of my pc where everything is on> I am not using remote client. I changed back to 127.0.0.1> I will revert back to std audio. Understand your point.

mvallevand Wrote:What error are you getting? This looks more like firewall then anything else. Plus you aren't even using 14.1

Martin

Firewall is off on my Windows box so I researched teh Pi and find that it doesn't have any firewall rules on by default. I thought I had configured the Pi to auto update on minor versions but it hadn't. SO, I did a manual update to 5.0.1 and things started working. AWESOME!

The error is back. I just started watching again. I reverted back to std Kodi without the audio mod and have local host at 127.0.0.1 with NPVR and Kodi on same PC. It worked fine all yesterday evening but when I went to look at it tonight it had lost the connection and I restarted NPVR and Kodi and failed again right away. Log Id 421578,412579. Thanks John

That looks like it was basically the correct error, the data seems bad and the tuner stopped. If you provide the server-side logs there might be something in there. It took a long, long time to start that one up
