Is there something in the command, or batch file, that I can change to get more than just the first 65ish channels' program information? There are about 300 channels worth of guide info that I want to scrape, but it seems to only pull the "standard tv" lineup... none of the HD channels' info.

it downloads whatever channels you set as your favorites on the website. HD or not. But you won't get 300 channels, I think you can only favorite a limited number.

zap2xml has stopped working for the past 3 days. It seems that the zap2it.com website has been replaced/renamed to screenertv.com. Is that the cause of the problem with zap2xml? Is there a way to fix this?

The listing now seem to be at http://tvlistings.zap2it.com/tvlistings. I suggest you get in touch with the developer and see if he/she can make the necessary changes to the program. It's whack a mole time.:mad:

The script has been using that URL for ages now and is working fine for me. Perhaps you just need to upgrade?

I have run into this now... Unless someone has a quick fix, lets see if we can fix this?
Edit: can we modify the XML file to look to the correct (new) website? Cuz it still has my same username and password.

OK, I updated from the March 2016 version to the December 2016 version of zap2xml.exe, and that seems to have fixed my problem. Thanks WayneD!

Different problem: I have npvr automatically run my zap2xml batch file every night and update the npvr epg. I have the batch file set to grab 6 days of programming, because if I set it to grab 7 or more days, the batch file seems to fail, the resulting epg.xml file fails to be updated, and the npvr epg fails to update (and after about 6 days would thus be completely empty).

However, zap2it/screenertv has 15 days of listings, and if I run the zap2xml batch file manually from Windows Explorer, zap2xml DOES run successfully - even when set to grab all 15 days of data, the xml file updates properly, and when I then manually update the epg inside npvr (under Settings, Channels), the npvr epg (both TV Guide and TV Listings) is loaded with the full 15 days of program data.

So, my question is why does npvr fail to successfully run zap2xml if set to grab 7 days or more of listings, and how can I get npvr to run this automatically without failing? I download listings for only 7 OTA channels and the batch file runs in about 30 seconds, so I don't think the problem is too much data. I use npvr v 3.6.6. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You rock... It looks like it's pulling info down so I hope it will all work out. I will look into the 7 day thing. I think I have mine set for 8 but an not sure. Hopefully someone will come along with some info for you!

What is failing exactly? Is zap2xml failing to download and make the xmltv file, or is NextPVR failing to load the listings from your file? If it's the former, you'll probably need to capture the output of zap2xml in the batch file, so you can see what errors it lists.

Just a suggestion, maybe update to version 3.9.2.
