Yes I figure that the TV Guide art in NextPVR will not be that useful to you anyway so it probably ready for you to start testing. 

For now just extract the two files into the jellyfin\plugins\NextPVR folder, renaming the old ones.

To get the genres, sports, news categories working you will need to modify some genres in the setting from the English default,   I created this video to explain it better

Also there are two On Now screens which is a bit confusing.  There are also two or three ways of looking at recordings so you need to be clear when you are explaining problem areas.  Emby isn't any better

Hi Martin - I do more reading the posts here on the forum than I do posting. I just wanted to thank you and Sub for what you guys do, its amazing! I knew little to nothing about JellyFin before reading this post. I have been using NextPVR for while now, and thought I would try iout Jellyfin, and integrate NextPVR into it. Everything works and looks GREAT!!

I do have a couple questions.

1. When in the Jellyfin client and watching something, and I hit the back button the volume mutes. I don't know if this is something with JellyFin or NextPVR. Have you come across this before? I have NextPVR and Jellyfin installed on a Windows 8 mini computer. And the client JellyFin app installed on a Nvidia Shield.
2. The EPG only updates if I manually update it. Is this normal? Shouldn't update automatically?

I am not super tech savvy but can stumble my way through.

Thanks sub really does the work that makes this all possible. I've never used the jellyfin Android app sorry can't help there.

For the guide you need to set up a scheduled task on jellyfin to do the update right after the daily epg update. I'll recompile an app I wrote for netcore to make this easier

There are changes required for 10.6 of jellyfin they changed a few things in the API and this one will crash. I will post an update when it is released, if anyone needs it earlier let met know.

as Jellyfin 10.6.2 is out now, would you please be so kind and update the Plugin?
You might have noticed that it is now possible to add custom repositories. So if you don't want to include the plugin into the public one, you might create your own repo.

Ok I didn't test with 10.6.2 but was using the with earlier beta versions up to the 10.6.0 release

There is no value in me keeping a separate repo since I it needs to be in an area that the jellyfin devs update when the make breaking changes like they do for v4.

Also currently I don't get much feedback on this thread on the questions I post so I can't in good conscience submit it with such a limited user base.

Regarding the missing feedback... yes I totally understand that.

The artwork is still missing currently, but to be honest I don't had that much time or the need to do some more tests.
The main feature for me - the live tv playback - is working fine.

Hi Martin, thanks for working on this plugin.
I am interested in trying it out, and a custom repository would make it a lot easier to install. I will try it out following the instructions from a few pages back, and will report back with my results.
