The issue was I was not factoring in Kodi making timed calls to the NextPVR server to update timer information without it making a corresponding call for a recording update.

Hi Martin,
This is going well. Have been using the updated DLL for two nights now and the recordings list is working perfectly. Whatever you did has done the trick. One step closer to ditching the pay TV (Sky) box!! Just need to sort out another issue with some recordings freezing briefly now and again. But that's another topic. Thanks so much. Marty

Sub approved and released this patch yesterday as part of 19.0.1 so everyone should be getting it and any manually added dll's should be updated. Thanks to everyone for the extra testing and logs.

Apparently the 19.0.1 update isn't making it to Windows users for some odd reason, I tried to contact Team Kodi via the forum and the pvr external Slack group and have so far received no feedback. All the other platforms are working.

No I pinged Kodi Team a third time on this and I have zero response. Maybe @pkscout can help out, I don't have access to the private slack channel but the external slack and forum are sadly quiet on what to do about this.
I'd like to see if sub's art fix works properly too, which you don't have, since I am about to stop development on Matrix. Martin

I'm happy to test 19.0.1 if you can point me to a manual install of the addon. M

Unless you use Schedules Direct you won't see any difference with 19.0.1 but it is here https://jenkins.kodi.tv/blue/organizatio.../artifacts

19.0.1 never did get packaged by Kodi for Windows users but 19.0.2 is out now.

Hi Martin,
Sorry to drag up an old issue but I recent rebuilt my system (Kodi 19.4, npvr 19.0.3 running on Windows 11) and this error seems to have come back. I have not manually installed the DLL discussed above. Do you know if the DLL fix you made was ported to 19.0.3? I could try and manually install the DLL again to see if it fixes the issue but I thought I'd check first. Thanks, Marty. |
