You were the one saying that a clean install on your clean install. I wouldn't expect channel to be show anything but devices should but you didn't go to the devices screen so I don't know if what you are seeing is a browser cache issue or not.

Maybe try http://127.0.0.1:8866/ and use ipv4 like Kodi is using. Then go to devices and send the logs.

OK, I completely deleted the data folder, reinstalled NPVR and then tried the two pages, same again.

Do you see anything in the browser F12 window to indicate an error or cached pages? It is not fully clean because the username and password are cached in the browser.

Yes, there's a bunch of errors, similar to before but that's where I get a bit out of my depth. I have 25 yrs IT support background but that never really required a massive understanding of web development stuff.

When I click Settings>>Channels, the console spits this out:
TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading '__vue__')
at OnSelectedGroup (settings.html:1217:35)
at HTMLAnchorElement.<anonymous> (settings.html:785:17)
at HTMLAnchorElement.dispatch (jquery-3.4.1.min.js:2:42571)
at v.handle (jquery-3.4.1.min.js:2:40572)
OnSelectedGroup @ settings.html:1217
(anonymous) @ settings.html:785
dispatch @ jquery-3.4.1.min.js:2
v.handle @ jquery-3.4.1.min.js:2
settings.html#:1 Unchecked runtime.lastError: The message port closed before a response was received.

The one thing that stands out to me there is "anonymous" appearing when I'm logged into the site

Have you tried another browser at all? You're the only person to have this problem, so not really sure what to suggest.

Yeah, I thought it was weird to have an old Safari user agent on Windows localhost but much earlier he told use it failed on Chrome when I asked him to test on Firefox and Chrome.
