I realized I was probably looking in the wrong place in the logs for my new messages.

Are these channels on 474000?

The channels RAS ORF2T HD, RAS 3sat HD, and RAS arte HD are indeed also on frequency 474000 but these channels have EPG data.
The channels RAS Das Erste HD, RAS ORF1 HD, RAS ORF III HD, RAS SRF zwei HD, and RAS Kika HD (to name a few), on the other hand are on frequency 474000, but DO NOT have EPG data.

So on the same frequency (but with different SIDs) you have channels that have EPG data in NextPVR and some that do not.

Ok, I think it's a very different problem than it was originally sounding like.

I thought it was finding the listings on 474000, but somewhere between finding them and saving them, they were getting lost. It's now sounds like it's finding listings for some stations on 474000 but not all stations.

You might have to zip and supply your npvr.db3, and maybe another 1 minute full transport stream sample from 474000.

We have been looking at this wrong, those are actually only for the channels you get EPG data for so the issue is before this. Perhaps 8572 on multiple frequencies is the part of the issue.

If you go to Settings->Guide and hit the gear icon on the right side and just tick 474 and then do the update are things better for the problem channels on that frequency?

Updating just 474000 does not improve the situation. I would like to point out, that in the menu opened after hitting the gear icon, only frequency = 474000, SID = 22 is shown for frequency = 474000, i. e. no other SIDs are shown in that menu. Yet, exactly that SID (but also others on the same frequency) do NOT get the EPG data in NextPVR.

It displays 22 but your database has other service ID's too, that is just the first one for the tuning plan. When I scan with my tuner I get the same result as sub, data on all channels but when I point your database to my tuner I don't.

I rescanned your database and it did add them on channels that show on sub's image here https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid599051 and there is data. It is the display channel numbers that seem to be causing the trouble on those channels. I expect it does have something to do sid order though.

If you renumber 5 to 86, 7 to 88 and 9 to 90 do you get data of 474?

Looking at it in more detail it looks like the data for the missing channels is being added but it goes to the wrong channel based on SID when channels share a SID. The scan order can change which is used.

20 Food Network instead of RAS ORF1 HD
22 Warner TV (40) instead of RAS Das Erste HD
23 Warner TV (86) instead of RAS ORF III HD

Listings-16.xml has the wrong ChannelOID for these 3 which explains the comments on it.

The issues on 578000 might be different since those SID aren't duplicated so we'd need a full mux for it too.

Yeah, I agree - I think that's what is happening. I'll check where it's happening in the code. It should already be taking the tsid into consideration for this, but it looks like it isnt.

I'm pretty sure this is to do with the logic that allows it to pickup all the listings (for channels on all frequencies) from a single frequency. When it does this, the tsid are often wrong, like they're for a different region etc, so if it doesn't find an exact match, it looks for a looser match.
