Sub,

I know you said you didn't do anything to the guide but I must agree with the other posters, sure seems much quicker to me. In fact, I was having an annoying problem where at times the MVP would go back to trying to connect when initiating the guide and some plugins. So far that seems to gone away! Me likey...great job!

I'd prefer not to clog up this thread talking about old bugs.

Will do..sorry for the faux pas.... :o

Sub,

Just noticed I lost my MVP screen position parameters after the upgrade again. I have two MVP's setup. No big deal, I just recreated them again but it would be nice if they would transfer from the old config.xml to the new on an upgrade. Other than that still working great!

Yes, its been this way for the last year or so. Unfortunately I did these parameters in a slightly different way in the config.xml, and they end up not being automatically retained as part of the upgrade.

Its somewhere near the bottom of my priority list, but I will do it one day.

Sub, just tried the new graphs for the Lifeview Walker and can now say I'm a happy camper with the Lame audio encoder and getting the desired bit rates now in the file. Knocked the file size down by about 200K, so even more room for my shows now. It should get a good work out in the next couple of days, so will know for sure how it goes, but so far so good.

Thanks again!

Hey, first, thanks for the new release, I haven't played much with it yet but it seems like it works great (as all the other releases Wink )

sub Wrote:- Added a slight delay into the FM Radio scan function, as some users werent able lock on to radio stations correctly - this may help.

I still can't get it to lock on a station, it scans slower now but it doesn't stop when it hits a station. Also, if I press [Scan] while listening to FM radio I get no sound at all (pressing [Stop] makes everything good again, but I don't think that's how it's suppose to work).

Anyway, it's not a big problem for me, but if I can do something to help you fix it just ask Smile (I use a PVR-350 without the tv-out and I'm not encoding the FM radio to MP3 (it's a bit slow on my VIA M10000)).

Yeah, I now know that this fix wouldnt have helped.

I've talked to Hauppauge about this. It seems their device drivers will always indicate there is no signal present for certain models of tuner. GB-PVR's scanning will magically start working on those devices in the future if Hauppauge ever fix this problem. I wouldnt hold my breath...

They use a different, private, mechanism in their own radio app.

Those people that have this problem will have to just manually add the channels.

Are you using postprocessing.bat, or relying on comskip.exe being automatically run? If the latter, for this release you need to have set the commercial detection to 'comskip.exe from the current directory'.
