I'm concerned about vlc.exe still being open.. can you 1) make sure there are no vlc.exe processes, and then 2) launch the streamer, start playing something and then Exit, and see if the vlc.exe process is killed or not.
Hmm, I was wrong vlc.exe appears to get killed correctly.
Just tried this several times with task manager displayed on my t.v. screen while in pressed Play Program on my client computer. vlc.exe immediately goes to 99% cpu and 30-40 megs of memory used. I get stuttering audio now and no video (i think it's because my pvr is recording something right now and my system just can't handle it!). When i click exit on the internal viewer, vlc.exe goes away immediately. Same thing when I tried it with an external viewer (and clicking the button that says press OK when you're done streaming)
