What we see in the news I guess. Nice and warm and sunny, but they can take half your land away from you.

Is it up near Valencia where there is a "land grab" law where developers can just take your land to build on. It gets quite a lot of publicity in the UK. This is the sort of press coverage we see.

For 11 years, developers and corrupt mayors
have exploited loopholes in a Valencia regional
law to fill their pockets at the expense of
homeowners, many of whom have seen their
retirement dreams shattered.

We all know how the press exagertates things though.

I didn't know about this local law... in Spain there's regional goverments who can dictate local laws.

But it's curious, this thinking about Spain is... completely true!!! all local, regional, and national goverments want the power to get rich asap...

Get the money and run! legal work won't make you rich Cool

I'm not sure, difficult to say at this resolution (the dot seems to be in the water...), but I'd bet that's Israel.

BTW - if you recieved few more hits from there lately - I recently saw an article in the website of the leading newspaper about Software PVR solutions - it covered only few (about 4 I think), GB-PVR was one of them - dubbed as the "stable" option. Not bad at all.

Well, I'm in that dot. And sometimes it seems there are a heck of a lot of people who want us to be in the water... :-(

Anyhow, I am personally responsible for at least 2 other users from Israel.

From Wikipedia:
..........

Hmmmm, according to this "Wikipedia" thing, there appears to really be a country called Canada.

I don't know....
Anybody can just put in an entry, so I don't know how reliable the information is.

(disclaimer, this entire post is humor. Maybe as bad and obscure as Brittish humor, but still an attempt at humor. I have met many Canadians since I live in Michigan in the USA. I can even talk Canadian....... "Hi dare, I was a-boot to call ya der hey". Wait a second, that is how they talk in Wisconsin, USA.)
