Another questions, is there any way to import recording schedules from GBPVR to NPVR?

Wow, I liked this one much better than GBPVR. The GUI seems faster.

One question though... How do I access the settings? Rolleyes

Sorry for spamming;

Any possibility to go straight into Live TV when opening the program?
I still want to be able to use the PVR function though.

What I'm saying is:

- I want to be able to push a button on my remote, which opens NPVR and shows TV. And then allowing me to change channels etc.
- I also want to be able to just click Esc/backspace and then see the menu with all the options (recordings etc.)

Is this possible?

The only thing I actually want, is that when NPVR opens, it goes directly into Live TV.

Yes there is. Use the Export function in GBPVR then go to the Recording tab in Settings of NPVR and use the Import function.

What I'm after is a possibility to export/import the recurring recordings, i.e. the season recordings schedule. Sub already answered that there is no way atm to do this, and it's not planned either.

Sorry, I misread your question and went right to the export/import part. I will increase the caffeine intake.

Anyone got an answer for my question?

Any way to go directly into live TV, and still being able to use PVR?

Btw. does NPVR support multirecording? I mean watching several channels in one mux?

Can I use NPVR as a server/client solution? I have 3 other computers which I also want TV on.

Sorry for all the questions, I'm new to all of this, and GBPVR and especially NPVR seems great!

I installed for the first time yesterday, so far am very impressed.

I had 3 popup dialog boxes during the install:
1. DataDirectory registry setting does not appear to be set correctly
2. DataDirectory=C:\Users\Public\NPVR
3. InstallDirectory=C:\Program Files\NPVR
But the install itself finished successfully.

When configuring the digital channel mappings I found that you can change the channel number in the "Channel Details" window, but the new number is not updated in the Channels window. You have to close then reopen the Channels window to see the updated numbers. (only a minor niggle)

I love the fact that it autodetected correctly both of my twin tuner cards, configuration of NPVR certainly seems easier than GBPVR.

What about variable settings for the forward/back skip sizes?

You should be more patient. Wink

For now it looks like, that only the Option "Live TV" in the settingsmenu will work. But it is only a matter of time, when a command line option will be available for this.

Later, yes. It will be integrated at a later time. Don't forget: nPVR is currently BETA and a completely new written GB-PVR. Some features will be added at a later time.
