It was a pleasnt surprise to wake up and find so many more potential logos. We're starting to get some really good ones now.

I'll leave it a few more days before we decide, then run a public vote-off on my favourites.

I like dottore's, it allows you to identify a single icon that can be used to identify the product or the whole logo for other areas.
Think of a custom PVR Server with the power button glowing as the green G button. [Image: smile.gif]

Yes, that is one of my favourites. The "B" looks a little lonely, but other than that it looks good. Its also likely to have problems on dark backgrounds given the dark lettering.

I also really like dimov's number #1.

The other a good too, but they're just a couple that stood out to me.

Here's one of my ideas:

or this one so the V doesn't look some much like a U:

...and the program icon and tray icons:

Maybe something like this?  (of course, it would need to be further edited, but...)[Image: GBPVRLogo.gif]

EDIT: Scrapped the old logo in favour of this one.

thank you for the nice words :-)

i am working on a black/white - version of the "powerbutton"-logo and working with other colors to let it display on dark backgrounds, just wait one or two days...

maybe this could be combined with dimovs logo? i like the font, but can't find one on my harddrive, have to look on the internet.

figured i'd throw out a couple logo ideas.

given that sub hasn't asked for color preferences, i've done them in monochrome for now...and without any shading or effects -- just some quick mockups, to see how people react.

ok, I have no artistic skill, I just thought it might be interesting to try to use a hand with a remote as the letter "P".This doesn't look all that great, but it might be an interesting idea for someone to toy with...
