Yes, sorry I thought the quote would refresh you memory. For this example I was talking about when I selected the quick Resume from the Recordings menu. In NPVR the resume from the Video Library works similarly, in that it happens before the video starts, unlike GBPVR which happened afterwards so the logic should be the same, but this reminds me to test it too.

Martin,

Now I have a HD recording that has a start time of 00:17:08 in stead of 00:00:00, and skipping is impossible, although it seems to have a correct timing.info. It looks like it has some encrypted seconds at the beginning. It shows the correct time on the PC, just not on the PCH. WAF is dropping fast in Yerbouti's houshold. Logs attached, incl. putty and timing.info. Maybe I should post new problems in another thread in the NMT-part of this forum?

Keep it here, sub should be aware, this issue seems to be 2.2.6 related. I can't duplicate your problems so here is a version with a lot more logging.

Here is a bit more logging. I also would like a 50 MB sample of this file. I am beginning to suspect the junk at the beginning is causing the problem.

mvallevand Wrote:Sub, is there anyway you could keep the GUI stream open (or ideally both) and send the seek with a non-blocking timer after the delay period?
This should do it. It logs a couple or message around this happening too.

Ok, it does seem to work from the Video Library and I see the message, but from the Recordings menu. I seem the same behavior with blocking etc.

This version implements the same deferred skip in the Recordings screen.

Yes it does but in further testing, it seems to be hard coded to 5000 and it doesn't respect <PrePlayDelay/>

Hmm, no should be. It definitely looks like it's using the setting.

Reproduce the problem and post the logs.
