Just got a new TV box; T95Z Plus with OctaCore processor, 3GB Ram and 64 GB storage.
Pretty snappy little box.

Tried the live TV test hoping it would make a difference.
It ran for about 25 minutes, longest ever, but then it froze.

I'm still waiting for someone from the states to tell me they can watch live TV for more than half an hour.
Especially if they're using Comcast.

Yeah, I don't think it's to do with your Android box.

Both you and Chris are in the states, and were able to stream for a long time from my server. donschjr is also in the states, and indicated he doesn't have any problems streaming remotely.

It's damn annoying it's not streaming reliably from your own server. Unfortunately I'm still not sure what to suggest on that one.

sub,

don't know if it makes a difference, but it dawns on me that my test of your server was actually done using a different modem/router than the one I use when I test connecting to my own server.
when I connect to my own server I use a spare modem that I have, so it appears I am connecting from a different location, outside of my LAN.
I wish I would have thought of that when I connected to your server; I would have used the same spare modem (apples to apples)

As for donschjr, I don't believe he ever responded saying he could stream for more than 30 minutes?

I'm not sure exactly how long his test was for when he streamed from my server, but he said it was longer than he gets out of his server.

I can set it up again for you if you want. Just let me know when.

I didn't have cell service when I was away last week so I didn't get to try a longer stream. I just ran a test at home and I also freeze after 30 minutes. I was watching over lunch and before starting work before so would not have been longer than that. I ran my test at home over comcast cable to my phone using cellular data. I transcode down to 480 and my cpu never rose above 20% usage so I doubt my pc is the issue. After freeze I had to close the program on my phone to reconnect to the server.

I'll leave it running the next couple of hours if you're about. (I can't leave it running all the time because I need this machine and it's tuner for other things)
