wannabepvr Wrote:It seems that MPEG IMPORT will not presently work with the 1.2.13 released, probably due to gbpvr.exe being removed in this release

That's exactly right, it just calls the gbpvr.exe file with a switch to tell it to import.

Newest release (v1.2.13) PVRX2.exe should be able to handle the import as follows:

- added a new "-import:filename" command line option for specifying the xml filename

sixgun - I just wrote a similar utility and had requests for metadata support. Can you release the source and I will try to add the support.

[EDIT] figured out how to read this - the metada is an NTFS alternate data stream

Thanks

I have finally got around to finding and releasing the source code.

I've added it to the Wiki page.

Have fun.

It shouldn't take much effort to make the exe file it runs a soft parameter, probably in the config file is the best place. I also seem to remember someone asking if the Message Box calls could be removed when it's operating in command line mode, again shouldn't take much effort.

If anyone has any questions about the code, then I am happy to answer them.

Regards,
Sixgun.

I really really like the MpegImport utility, simple and elegant.

Would any kind coder be willing to have a crack to make it work not just to create the xml dump, but also do the import like it used to do?

Just another call for a coder to update what is otherwise a simple elegant utility?
