Granted, I havent done anything yet, but Sunday (EST) is my main recording day.

I do have some questions...

1. I was suprised to find my gbpvr.mdb file was almost 800Mb! I have three tuners each associated with the same zap2it account. Was this abnormal? - My "clean" gbpvr.db3 is only 7.5Mb - same three tuners, same programs sched. to record.

2. Why do I need three copies of the Zap EPG? Is there a reason why the three capture sources can't feed off the same EPG?

I've used SQLite with both Python and RealBASIC. Great choice!

This is pretty normal, and one of the main reasons we were shifting away from using MS Access for the database. These files grow, but never shrink in normal operation - even when data is deleted, the used space is not reclaimed, and not reused. If you've switched to SQLite, this old GBPVR.MDB file is no longer used.

Its just really a configuration thing. If you have three capture sources using the same zap2it account, it'll only end up asking zap2it for the listings once, and only one copy will ultimately be stored in the database.

To be honest, I'm not really sure. Its sounds like something screwying going on with your drivers, or your card, or the software on your machine. Yeah I know - thats a bit vague.

Maybe try uninstalling everything relating to that card (drivers, wintv), including doing the hcwclear etc, then try reinstalling it, check its working in WinTV etc.

well it turns out the problem is the driver that fixes the pvr150 timestamp bug. when i install that driver it turns black or some other color screen. when I roll back the driver to version 2.0.18.22280. Sad

Anything with a version number greater than 2.0.43.24054 should also contain this timestamp fix. You could check on http://www.shspvr/smf
